Charities Supported

In previous years we have worked with various charities – Barnardo’s Cymru and NCH Cymru being the primary charities.

S4C Barnardos Cymru Appeal
Over £2000 from the auction of the sculptures from 'Carve Cymru' was donated to the S4C Barnardos Cymru appeal. A sculpture of an eagle also raised a few hundred pounds for Barnardos at the S4C Charity Ball

NCH Cymru - The children's charity
In 2004 we also worked with NCH Cymru Children's charity to assist the children and young people at the Young Carers project in Abergele with their activities in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Cedric the Dragon was at the festival - the charities cuddly green charity mascot. A wooden carving of Cedric was also auctioned at the festival and the proceeds donated to NCH Cymru.
