Sunday - Weather Notice - Despite showery conditions on Saturday almost all aspects of the show remained unchanged, and we had a great show, despite visitor numbers being down by about 20%.

Come along on Sunday as we have over 500ft of indoor marquee space, and many of our exhibitors and traders offer walk in trading space. The axe racing, pole climbing, horse logging,  birds of prey displays and Mountain Bike displays are all on.

Woodfest Wales 2010 is on 4th, 5th and 6th June

We will be offering the same popular attractions, demonstrations, displays and competitions and also incorporating new and exciting events, some of which incude:

Timber Sports Arena - Woodfest are priviledged to be staging all the 2009 British Championship Axe Racing Competitions.

A new Mountain Bike Trail featuring a dramatic and exciting track made specifically for the event will be a testing challenge for even the most experienced riders. Take a look at the following video to see what you've missed if you didn't come to the festival ! ! Video

Pole Climbing Arena - A new range of activities will be taking place in the arena, incorporating the main pole climbing competitions and also a new discipline involving a combined pole climb/axe throwing and boom running.

We are working with local schools to organise furniture competitions & displays of craftsmanship, all of which will be on display over the three days in the Education Marquee.

Tegan will be offering a range of FREE family friendly facilities including story telling, toddlers soft play areas, craft activities, creche, feeding and nappy changing facilities.

There will be three days of events including Chainsaw Carving Competitions, Lumberjack Competitions, Axe Racing, Pole Climbing, Horse Logging Competitions, Birds of Prey Displays and much more.

17 chainsaw artists - will be competing to carve giant wooden sculptures, all of which will be available to purchase at our charity auction at 2pm Sunday.

We will have an Arts Zone, Education Zone, a Craft Fair, Food Fair, Woodturning & Tools Marquee and Childrens play areas and rides, there really is something for everyone at Woodfest Wales!
