Ferret World

‘The Black Countryman’ Simon Bishop will be teaching us about ferrets, introducing children and adults alike to the history of ferrets, their origin and their welfare, with the main emphasis being on FUN! There will be ferret racing for children to take part in. Ferret World has appeared on TV and radio many times including: Richard and Judy, Blue Peter, CBBC and Heart of the Country. www.ferretworld.co.uk

Dog Scurry

On Saturday 27th June, come and bring your dog into the countryside arena to compete in our dog scurry. Any dogs can take part for fun, and our dog trainer will be looking for the fastest dogs to retrieve.

Fun Dog Show

On Sunday 28th June at 1.00p.m. the countryside Arena will be holding a fun dog show.
Information and registration forms will be available at the ticket office and the Woodfest Office,.
So come and bring your dogs, enter and have some fun !
There will be various classes and dogs and owners will be judged and rosettes and prizes awarded for the winners!

Horse Logging

These beautiful big heavy horses and their handlers will be demonstrating their strength, skill and temperament showing  the methods of timber extraction using horse power. Tug of War with the children and the horses

Vintage Tractor Display

New for 2015 :  The Flintshire Vintage and classic tractor society will be bringing their fantastic display of tractors into the arena all 3 days. On Sunday 28th June the tractors will be leaving the woodfest site at 10 a.m. for a charity tractor run in aid of St Kentigerns Hospice and returning for a final display of even more tractors into the countryside arena at 12.30 for a grand finale
